It’s come to my attention that today’s comic is the 200th non-guest strip to grace the Badnix archives! Man, does time fly. It seems like only yesterday I was uploading #100 to the –

WAIT. Wait a second. The last time I had a 100-strip milestone, it was A) the end of the first major story arc, B) an epic title drop, and C) a double-sized game-changer that set the rest of the comic into motion. The heck’s going on in today’s strip? Some kind of mid-story plot twist?! That’s no good!

Um… okay, imagine that just off-panel in today’s strip, Kevin is being defeated once and for all in a lushly illustrated full-page brawl, Hud is detailing his secret evil origins, and Arika is shedding a layer of artificial skin to reveal she is a secret government cyborg. “The war is over,” she whispers. “But the battle… is only beginning!”

“Beep boop,” she adds. Ted nods his assent.

Perry – a wanted man? Rog – racked with guilt over a secret he’s been keeping? Arika – an insufferable snoop? Questions have been raised, dear readers – questions that MUST BE ANSWERED! Some other time.

On Wednesday, we’ll be launching into a brand new adventure-type, Badnix vs. Kevin story! It’s probably my favorite thing I’ve written for the comic so far, and I’m having a blast drawing it, so hopefully you will enjoy it, too. It should also be a little less continuity-heavy than recent strips, so if you were planning on linking your friends/relatives/estranged lovers a link to Badnix, now-ish may be a good time! Just sayin’.

Having said all of that – I am going somewhere with all of these plot threads I keep introducing. Perhaps sooner than you think! Keep reading, friends.
